Associate Director for Online Education Production, DCE Teaching and Learning;
Lead a department of up to 40 full- and part-time video professionals to deliver online course content to 16,000 online and hybrid students annually at Harvard Extension and Summer Schools.
Major achievements include:
- March 2020: Transition 96 campus based hybrid and hyflex courses to fully online formats mid-semester, including prompt training and support of faculty reliant on campus AV services.
- May 2020: Cross train 18 video production staff for alternate work in web conference support during campus closure, by designing a 5 week curriculum with practical assignments, reference materials and quizzes.
- August 2021: Lead the return to campus based production for courses cross listed with other Harvard schools before the main Extension School campus re-opened. Design and implement operational workflows for satellite facility in newly opened Allston location.
- June 2022 - August 2023: Design and lead the restructuring of services and staff to meet a mandate for providing equal resources between classroom operations and studio/postproduction of media assets, with no additional headcount. Strategically transition to new organizational model through repurposing open positions while encouraging movement of internal talent into new roles.
